This was the second home we’ve done for this client and one of many projects that we’ve worked with Dennis Gibbens on. This project is a 5,000 square-foot single family residence and guest house. When the clients came to us they said exactly what most people say when we first sit down “we want this system to be really simple to operate”. As you can see by the architecture and design of the home, clean and organized was a must.
The home consists of an 8 zone Crestron audio system plus a dedicated Media Room. Throughout the home are over a couple dozen speakers, many of which are completely invisible! In fact many of the photos feature these speakers (but you’d never know it). With RTI as the primary remote control interface in the house it’s easy enough for the youngest kids to operate as well as the out of town guests that often find their way to the beach.
In the Media Room we’ve used Epson’s flagship Home Theater projector, Sonance’s Cinema Series speakers, an acoustically transparent Screen Research film screen and all of this is being driven by one of Denon’s high end surround receivers. Whether it’s Netflix, a Blu-ray or DirecTV HDTV it’s all available to watch at the push of just a single button.
With the cleanliness of invisible speakers, the ease of pushing one button to watch TV and the tidy installation of our staff I think it’s safe to say that we tame technology for people like you……
